BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. German citizens bought 38,000 real estate properties in Türkiye from January to September 2023, which is 20,000 less year-on-year, Trend reports.
The data of the State Land Registry and Real Estate Sales and Purchase Authority of Türkiye shows that German citizens purchased 148 properties in Türkiye in September 2023, which is 77 properties less year-on-year.
A total of 102,656 apartments were purchased in Türkiye in September 2023, which is 9.5 percent less over year.
According to the information, 900,074 apartments were purchased in Türkiye from January through September 2023.
"These figures are 14.9 percent lower over year," the agency said.
In September 2023, 2,930 apartments were sold to foreign nationals in Türkiye, down 42 percent year-on-year.
Foreign citizens bought 28,064 apartments in Türkiye from January through September 2023, 43.5 percent less over year.
