DYNAMICS OF CHANGES IN SOME ECONOMIC SEGMENTS

Oil Market

Last week several world agencies came out an initiative on cut in forecasts for oil dead in the nearest years. On Friday the October futures for low-sulphur oil ended with a rise, while in the end of the week it lost over 4%.

October futures for light low-sulphur oil ended at the New York Commodity Exchange, NYMEX, with rise by $0.11, and comprised $63.33 per barrel. As a result of the week it dropped $2.92.

October futures for non-ethyl petrol fell $0,0228 to $1,575 per gallon, 2.3% as a result of the week. October futures for fuel mazut dropped $0,0087 to $1,7023 per gallon. As a result of the week it fell 7.6%.

Currency Market

As a result of last week, the official rate of manat with regards to the US dollar, set by the National Bank of Azerbaijan grew 0,0011 point or 0.11%. The average rate was established as 0.87928 manats per 1 US dollar, Trend reports.

Last week the maximum rate of the US dollar in respect to the manat was established on 11 September (0.8798 manats per 1 US dollar), minimum 15 September (0.8787 manats per US dollar).

As a result of the last week exchange rates of the Azerbaijani manat with regards to the US dollar, established on the base of results of the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BICEX) increased by 0,0009 point or 0.09%. Average rate was fixed as 0.87846 manats per US dollar.

Last week the maximum rate of the US dollar in respect to the manat was established on 12 September (0.8789 manats per 1 US dollar), minimum 15 September (0.8777 manats per US dollar).

Deals concluded last week at BEST with transition to currency (T+0) comprised $10,825 with average sustained exchange rate of 0.8786 AZN/USD on 11 September, $1m with average sustained rate of 0.8789 AZN/USD on 12 September, $8.854m with average sustained rate of 0.8786 AZN/USD on 13 September, $2,500m with average sustained rate of 0.8785

AZN/USD on 14 September and $5,710m with average sustained rate of 0,8777 AZN/USD on 15 September.

No deal was concluded with Russian ruble and Euros last week due to the absence of appeals.

Privatization Shares Market

During this period the prices of vouchers were stable and made up 85,000 old manats (17 AZN) till 14 September and 80,000 manats (16 AZN) on 15 and September.
