The Azerbaijani Diplomatic Academy presented a project to build a diplomatic complex in the Dada Gorgud Park in Baku, Rector Hafiz Pashayev told journalists on Jan. 28. The new complex will comprise a library and residential building for teachers and students.
Power will be supplied from alternative sources. U.S. architects took part in drafting the complex. Pashayev said roughly 25 students will be admitted to the academy this year and up to 120 students in the future. Twenty-five percent will be foreign nationals. Tuition is 4,750 manat per year.
Gifted students will be provided with financial assistance. A Career Development Center will operate at the academy to help students find jobs after training, he added. The Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy was established on March 6, 2006 by presidential decree.
