Türkiye discloses number of passengers carried by Adana Int'l Airport

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. As many as 3.55 million passengers were carried by the Adana International Airport of Türkiye in November 2022, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye said, Trend reports via TurkicWorld.

According to the ministry, this figure was 15 percent more than in the same period of 2021.

In the reporting month, the airport's domestic air passenger traffic equaled 2.96 million people (growth of nine percent), whereas international passenger traffic reached 593,415 people (a growth of 56 percent).

Meantime, Adana Airport handled 41,504 tons of cargo, which was seven percent more than in November 2021.

During this period, the airport's domestic air cargo traffic amounted to 30,599 tons (a year-on-year increase of eight percent), while international cargo traffic – was 10,906 tons (a rise of four percent).

Furthermore, 40,806 flights were implemented in November 2022, which was 21 percent more than in November 2021. Meanwhile, the number of domestic flights amounted to 34,821 (a growth of 16 percent), whereas international flights – 5,985 (a rise of 60 percent).

In November 2022, passenger traffic at all Turkish airports totaled 169.07 million people, whilst cargo turnover stood at 3.69 million tons.

At the end of 2021, passenger movement through all Turkish airports made up 128.387 million people, and cargo turnover – was 3.358 million tons.
