Morgan Stanley increases gold, silver forecasts

Morgan Stanley's estimates on gold and silver prices have increased.

The bank increased gold forecasts to $1,000 per ounce in 2009.

"The situation in global markets has disappointed many investors," the report said.

The price projections on silver in 2009 were also increased to $13 per ounce.

As a result of COMEX, quotes on April gold futures fell by $24.7 to $918 per troy ounce. 

May futures on silver in СОМЕХ dropped to $12.94 per ounce.
