The National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (NFES) at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development held an event on "Public support for the development of entrepreneurship in the country's regions" in Horadiz on May 15, the ministry reported.
The fund issues loans in concessional terms to 90 entrepreneurs of the Upper Karabakh and Aran region at the event.
Financing projects through soft loans will enable to open new jobs.
In the future, such events are planned for other regions of Azerbaijan.
The Fund issued over 350 loans worth roughly 20 million manat through its authorized loan organizations in Ganja-Gazakh, the Nagorno-Shirvan, Aranskaya, Guba-Khachmaz economic areas.
On May 15, the official exchange rate is 0.8036 manat to $1.
