Air Astana plans to open Almaty – Amman direct flight in 2013

Kazakhstan and Jordan have agreed to increase the total number of direct flights between the countries from two existing to seven flights a week, the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications told Trend today. Amman and Aqaba were determined as stopping places for Kazakhstan and Astana and Almaty for Jordan.

Air Astana airline plans to open Almaty - Amman flight next year. The Jordanian airline Royal Jordanian is ready to start making flights on this route in September 2012.
According to the information, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the aviation bodies of both countries during the bilateral talks in Amman.

The parties also discussed a provision of the draft agreement on air communication between the Kazakh and Jordanian governments.

Moreover, the parties agreed to develop cooperation between the aviation bodies of both countries in the field of aviation safety by sharing experience.
