A Joint Venture Creation Council to be founded in Azerbaijan

According the review held within the TACIS program jointly with Azerbaijan Export and Investment Foundation (AZPROMO), 44% of the head administrations of joint ventures characterized their ventures as very successful, the expert from Czechian National Agency for Investment Attraction Robert Heyzak told in the presentation on the topic of How is it possible to became the partner in joint ventures within the regional seminar begun in Baku, Trend reports.

According to him, the key reasons for failure of JV are variety of cultures (49%), weak or unclear management (49%), weak integration process (46%).

Czechian expert considers that a cultural closeness is required for a successful business in JV, and therefore, the best practice for contacts with foreign partners may be established with Russia, Turkey or through the diaspora of Azerbaijan abroad. Heyzak thinks that AZPROMO may render assistance in seek partners, placing information about companies, as well as founding Counci for VJ creation.
