Azerbaijan reveals Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli oil output volume in January 2025

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. Oil production from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields stood at 1.3 million tons in January 2025, as compared to 1.4 million tons in the same period in 2024, Trend reports via Azerbaijan’s energy ministry.

As such, ACG oil production dropped by 7.1 percent year-on-year.

The data shows that Azerbaijan produced 2.3 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January 2025. Of this, 1.3 million tons came from ACG, 0.3 million tons (condensate) from the Shah Deniz field, and 0.05 million tons (condensate) from the Absheron field.

SOCAR's oil production (including condensate) amounted to 0.6 million tons.

During January, 2 million tons of oil (including condensate) were exported. Of this, 1.7 million tons were from the consortiums, 0.25 million tons from SOCAR, and 0.05 million tons from the Absheron field.

Oil refining in January amounted to 0.6 million tons.

In January 2025, the daily oil (including condensate) production was 74,500 tons (559,000 barrels), of which 61,700 tons (454,000 barrels) were crude oil and 12,800 tons (105,000 barrels) were condensate.
