The Iranian conglomerate MAPNA has signed a 100 million Euro contract with Petropars Iran, Fars News Agency reported on Saturday.
The contract is for eight turbo compressors for a compressor station at the joint South Pars gas and oil field in the Persian Gulf.
The South Pars field is shared by Iran and Qatar.The Iranian share, which is divided into 29 phases, has about 14 trillion cubic meters of gas, or about 8 percent of the total world reserves, and more than 18 billion barrels of liquefied natural gas resources.
