Mid-term parliamentary elections in Georgia held in peaceful conditions

The mid-term elections in three constituencies in Georgia are being held in a peaceful atmosphere, press-speaker of the Central Electoral Comission of Georgia Eka Azarashvili told journalists on Saturday.

According to her, 5 percent of voters have already voted in the three constituencies by now.

Mid-term parliamentary elections are being held in three majoritarian electoral districts of Georgia on Saturday. 177 polling stations are operating in total. More than 200 thousand people are expected to take part in the vote.

13 political parties and one independent bloc are participating in the elections. The elections are being held in Nadzaladevi, Samtredia and Bagdati constituencies.

20 NGOs, 7 international and 17 media organizations are observing them.
