At least 44 people have suffered head injuries and broken bones after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake jolted Indonesia's resort island of Bali, the Red Cross says.
The US Geological Survey said on Thursday that the epicenter of the quake was about 160 km (100 miles) southwest of the island's capital, Denpasar, Reuters reported.
The quake also caused a school and a house to collapse and sent tourists running out of hotels, Press TV reported.
One of many hotels in the luxury southern beach area of Nusa Dua evacuated its guests as its building shook for a minute.
The head of information at Bali's meteorology agency, Endro Tjahjono, said there was no potential for a tsunami.
The Indonesian archipelago is on the Pacific's 'Ring of Fire' and witnesses regular earthquakes.
