Steel exports from Turkey to Azerbaijan increased by 26.7 percent in January 2021 compared to the same month of 2020, totaling over $8.75 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, in the reporting month, Turkey’s steel exports to global markets decreased by 7 percent over the year, amounting to $1.05 billion.
Turkey’s exports of steel accounted for 7.8 percent of the country's total exports during the mentioned month.
Over the past 12 months (from January 2020 through January 2021) Turkey exported steel worth over $12.5 billion to international markets.
