Gaioz Odishelidze's family voiced a request to launch investigation against Imedi TV. They applied to the prosecutor's office. Gaioz Odishelidze, 51, died after watching a simulated Chronicles.
He said that witnesses were interviewed on the site. It was found that Odishelidze died while watching a simulated "chronicle" at home. His last words were "the war began, after which he fell off his chair. The cause of death was heart attack.
According to Alexi Odishelidze's son, his father was healthy. He worked and had no heart problems during nine years. Nine years ago he suffered a heart attack.
The family calls for examination of witnesses in the case, including the head of TV company Giorgi Arveladze and head of information service Eka Tsamalashvili. The lawyer did not rule out that examination of President Mikheil Saakashvili will be required.
Head of the organization "Protect life" Yuri Vazagashvili said that as a result of broadcasted simulated "chronicle" 10 people died. But only four cases were confirmed.
