The trial over a Georgian citizen detained in Malaysia is expected to resume on Friday.
As Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said, Georgia hopes the process will not be postponed.
"We hope the court will consider all arguments presented by Georgia, but we cannot say anything concrete beforehand," Kalandadze stressed.
Darejan Kohtashvili and Babutsa Gordadze are accused of exporting drugs hidden in the frames of paintings. Both may face the death penalty.

Eldar Davitiani, Babutsa's husband, came to police and assumed the blame. He was sentenced in Georgia.
