Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, issued decree on granting awards to best school and best teachers. The contest for best school and teacher will be held from beginning of 2007 and 2008 school years. Each 50 best schools will be granted with the prize by AZN 100,000 for development of innovation methods of education. Some 100 best teachers will be granted by AZN 5,000.
The implementation of the contest was trusted to the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.
