BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 19. The system of providing transportation in the direction of Lachin, Shusha, and Khankendi is being developed, chairman of the board of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency Anar Rzayev said at a briefing on July 19, Trend reports.
He noted that works are underway in Karabakh to implement both intercity and intracity passenger transportation.
“We have already announced tenders. Barda - Khankendi and Baku - Lachin routes have been put up for tender; winners have been announced, and soon they will start functioning,” he emphasized.
Rzayev mentioned that the introduction of innovations will also contribute to the provision of more quality transportation infrastructure and services to citizens living in the territories liberated from occupation within the framework of the “Great Return”.
“In compliance with the requirements and ready road infrastructure, route buses in the directions Baku-Shusha, Baku-Aghdam, Barda-Aghdam, Ahmadbayli (Fuzuli)-Shusha, Tartar city-Talish village, Horadiz (Fuzuli)-Aghali (Zangilan), Horadiz (Fuzuli)-Hadrut (Khojavand), and Horadiz (Fuzuli)-Lachin are functioning.
The analysis is being conducted in other territories liberated from occupation. Citizens registering on the portal yolumuzuzqarabaga.az can visit Shusha City, Sugovushan settlement, and Lachin City by personal passenger cars. Permission to travel by personal car can be given to a maximum of nine people (including the driver),” he added.
