Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 April / corr Trend U.Ismayilova / In Barcelona, the National Confederations of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan and Spain signed an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of developing relations amongst entrepreneurs, Alakbar Mammadov, the President of the Azerbaijani Confederation, said on 15 April.
"An agreement envisages exchange of information on the activities of entrepreneurs from both the countries," Mammadov said.
Mammadov said that during his visit to Spain last week with a group of 15 businessmen, he participated in a business forum. Azerbaijani businessmen represented the spheres of construction, agriculture, reprocessing of agriculture production, transport, tourism and insurance. Fifty businessmen from Spain participated in the business-forum.
During the business forum, the Ganja enterprise for production of meat and meat products 'Elba' got agreement with the Spanish enterprise on the supply of advanced technology to this Azerbaijani factory. The Azerbaijani pharmaceutical enterprise agreed upon supply of Spanish medical supplies to the country. The mutual agreement was also achieved between the Azerbaijan ad Spanish construction companies.
Mammadov said that it is planned to hold next Azerbaijani-Spanish business forum in Baku in July.
