Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov has stressed the inadmissible low level of service provided for air passengers, Altyn Asyr national TV channel said on August 15.
This statement was made at the last government meeting. The further improvement of the transport sector's operations was raised at this meeting.
Berdimuhammedov called for the improvement of this situation as soon as possible. He set a task for the state national service Turkmen Airlines to ensure the highest standards of passengers' service on all air flights.
Also discussed during the meeting were the preparations for the opening ceremonies for the new building of the Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communication, as well as for a kindergarten for 160 children which has been built in Ashgabat by order of the Communication Ministry.
Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov stressed that all conditions required for the training of transport and communication specialists will be provided in new well-equipped corpuses of the Institute. He said that these areas are significant for the social-economic development of Turkmenistan.
