Azeryolservis OJSC of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport refused to continue the tender announced earlier for the construction of road tunnel at the intersection of Koroglu Rahimov and Tabriz streets. The tunnel was to be constructed to regulate traffic and avoid road jams.
This decision was made taking into account the desire of least three bidders to participate in the tender.
Tender was declared invalid by the decision of the tender commission April 12 in accordance with paragraph 11.1 of the Azerbaijani law "State purchase". Its further holding was stopped.
