Iran’s exports to China exceeds 12m tons in 6 months

Iran exported over 12.8 million tons of goods, worth some $2.8 billion, to China in the first half of the Iranian calendar year (ended on September 22), making it the major importer of Iranian goods, the ISNA news agency reported.

The United Arab Emirates, Iraq, India and Afghanistan ranked next to China. The five mentioned countries accounted for nearly 60 percent of Iran's total exports in the six-month period, the report added.

Around 7.8 million tons of goods, worth some $6.2 billion, were also exported to other countries in the mentioned period.
