The European Fund for Southeast Europe's (EFSE) first annual meeting has opened in Tbilisi. Financial sector representatives from 30 European countries are attendin.
More than 300 delegates participating in the conference are discussing financial affordability for small and medium businesses.
The conference aims to establish a dialogue between small and medium-sized businesses in the region.
The meeting was opened by Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Dirk Niebel and president of the Georgian National Bank Giorgi Kadagidze.
The National Bank president has expressed confidence that using the financial capacity of the European fund in Georgia will draw attention to Georgia.
