In 2013 the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia stood at $1.35 billion, or 12.5 percent of Georgia's total foreign trade turnover, according to the foreign trade report of the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat).
The trade turnover between the two countries increased by 7.14 percent compared with 2012, according to the report.
For comparison, in 2012 the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia amounted to $1.26 billion.
Azerbaijan is Georgia's second largest trading partner after Turkey.
The report indicates that the trade turnover between Georgia and Turkey in 2013 amounted to $1.53 billion (specific weight - 14.2 percent).
Third place in terms of trade with Georgia belongs to Ukraine with $795.13 million.
The overall foreign trade turnover in 2013 amounted to $10.78 billion, increasing by 5.48 per cent compared with 2012.
