Azexport (www.azexport.az) has accepted orders for supplying non-oil products worth $367 million in January-August 2018, which is 19 percent more than in January-August 2017, according to the Export Review, published by the country’s Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
Since early 2017, orders worth $842 million were accepted via the website, including orders worth $475 million in 2017.
Russia is leading in terms of the total volume of orders for January-August 2018. Thus, 18.2 percent of all orders accounts for Russia, following the US (8.6 percent), Turkey (7 percent), Iran (4.6 percent) and the UK (4.2 percent).
The analysis of orders shows that the greatest number of orders in August was received for cotton, nuts, cottonseed oil, pomegranate juice, apples, tea, wine, peas, tobacco, mineral fertilizers, motor oil, confectionery, pomegranate wine, chicken, canned meat.
