576 industrial & mine projects to be commissioned in Iran

As many as 576 industrial, mine and trade projects with investments worth 686 trillion rials (about $16.3 billion) will be commissioned in anticipation of the 40th anniversary of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, Head of Administrative Development and Renovation Center of Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade Jahanbakhsh Sanjabi Shirazi said, Trend reports via Mehr News Agency.

There are 19 new projects worth 458,000 billion rials, and they will provide jobs for 7,000 people, he noted.

In line with the scheduled program, mineral and industrial projects will become operational in the provinces of Yazd and Bushehr in particular, he said.

Project for the production of sulfate and sulfuric acid in Kerman province is the biggest mineral project in Iran, and it will be commissioned during the anniversary celebration, Sanjabi added.

Removing industrial and production barriers in different cities of the country have been put atop agenda of the ministry, he said.

He added that salient achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the mineral and industrial sector will be unveiled in a book entitled “40 Years of Production and Trade” concurrent with the 40th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in the presence of Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani.
