Turkmenistan is ready to strengthen cooperation with companies with a huge production capacity, and, particularly, with Itera, national television channel Altyn Asyr reported on Monday. Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov discussed such news at a meeting with Igor Makarov, Chairman of the Itera International Group of Companies which. Itera takes an active part the implementation of major national projects.
The priority projects include development of the 21st oil and gas block in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea. Itera should build extractive and injection wells, technology platforms, onshore facilities and pipelines.
TV reports that views were exchanged on prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation given priorities of Turkmenistan's state development.
Makarov discussed the progress of implementing the joint projects. He said that the company commissioned the two hippodrome complexes in Balkan and Lebap regions.
"All necessary conditions have been created for the animals and visitors' rest in the complexes. In addition, they are equipped with modern telecommunications technologies and satellite communications, providing real-time live broadcasts and videoconferences with other hippodromes in Turkmenistan," TV reported.
