Iran is likely to increase cooperation with foreign companies, including China, to implement oil production plans, Mehr News Agency reported quoting Managing Director of National Iranian South Oil Company Hurmuz Ghalavand as saying.
"It's expected that Iran would install 42 inside pumps in southern regions by help of domestic and foreign companies and add 11 new oil rigs in joint oil field with Qatar," he said.
He noted the country will cooperate with Chinese company to develop Masjid Soleyman oil field.
The company has drilled 19 oil wells in Masjed Soleyman oil field by the help of China, and after implementation of new plans, the oil production capacity of Masjid Soleyman oil field will increase by 25,000 barrels per day.
The National Iranian Oil Company agenda is to increase cooperation with foreign countries, including China, to finance the oil projects, he added.
He said earlier the National Iranian South Oil Company currently completed 99 percent of increasing oil production plans in southern region and has drilled 317 oil wells in Masjid Solieman oil field.
