Oil imported to Turkey in December 2011 decreased by 20.8 per cent compared to the previous month. The figure hit 1.1 million tons, the report of the Turkish Energy Market Regulator (EPDK) said today.
Diesel fuel imported in December amounted to 738,900 tons or 37.4 per cent less than the previous month. During the same period, production of oil products increased by 0.36 per cent to 1.6 million tons.
Petrol exports in December amounted to 153,400 tons, or 3.1 per cent less than in November 2011.
Petrol consumption in Turkey in December reduced by six per cent to 152,800 tons and the consumption of diesel fuel, by four per cent amounting to 1.2 million tons.
