Since early year the gas-processing plant in the Nayip region in the east of the country has processed more than 750 million cubic meters of natural gas, the Oil and Gas Industry Ministry said.
Plan to achieve this volume was completed ahead of schedule due to improvement of the technical process.
Since early year gas processing plant produced over three thousand tons of liquefied natural gas and about one and a half thousand tons of hydrocarbon condensate, which is more than the
planned figure.
Three automated installations operate at the enterprise. The plant's products are auctioned at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
In accordance with the program of development of domestic fuel and energy complex by 2030, liquefied natural gas production volumes are planned to increase to three million tons.
A number of large investment projects, including construction of new petrochemical plants,
gas processing complexes on the fields on the right bank of Amu Darya and the Caspian region, as well as the modernization of Kiyanli seaport are intended for this.
Recently, a terminal for storage and shipment of liquefied natural gas with a capacity of 200 thousand tons per year has been commissioned in Kiyanli.
