The entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan are actively developing the construction business and are signing increasingly large contracts for the construction of residential complexes and infrastructure facilities.
This can be seen at the exhibition "Turkmenconstruction-2018", held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Dozens of private sector enterprises have taken part in the grandiose development of Ashgabat, the expansion and beautification of which are proceeding in a steadily increasing ratio.
Such private firms as “Adjayip gurlushyk”, “Aktab”, “Atlyn”, “Nusay Yollary”, “Rovshen” and others have joined the sixteenth stage of development of the Turkmen capital. Many of them were initially engaged in other activities.
For instance, the "Rovshen" company has established the production of shoes, which today successfully competes in the Turkmen market with foreign analogues.
This indicates that the favorable conditions have been created in the country for entry into the construction industry of the economy.
Among construction companies in the country, the number of narrow-purposed firms which focus on the construction of certain types of facilities is also increasing. For example, “Gujurly Engineer” Economic Society specializes in design and construction of cafes and restaurants with a unique style and layout that will attract customers and give originality to any catering facility.
The construction boom in the country inevitably demands qualitative, and, as far as possible, inexpensive building materials. The Turkmen businessmen did not remain aloof and took over the development of the enterprises of the corresponding profile.
Such domestic companies as “Nur Seyit”, “Shahym Sha”, “Hilal Aluminium”, “Altyn Darvaza” and many others produce building materials made entirely of domestic raw materials.
For example, a glass mosaic that decorates Turkmen cities and gives them a special national colour started to be manufactured in the country recently. The development of this production will reduce significantly the total cost of external decoration of new buildings.
“Turkmenconstruction-2018” demonstrated a huge range of opportunities for the private sector engaged in the construction industry, the rapid pace of development of which attracts more and more investments that give impetus to the development of Turkmenistan’s economy.
