Iran should negotiate with the international community using a different, familiar language, in order for Iran's logic to be understood, Islamic Republic's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said at the press conference, IRINN reported.
"The nation's sovereignty, integrity, freedom of people and will to progress the quality of Iranian citizens' life - these principles will never change," Zarif underscored. "Iran's priority is to continue the principle of the Islamic Revolution."
Zarif further said that Iranians voted for Hassan Rouhani, to have a different course. It should be noted that Hassan Rouhani won the presidential elections in Iran on June 14, gathering over 50 percent of votes. He was officially sworn-in as Iran's next president on August 4.
"The circumstances and changes on international arena cause the necessity for all nations to set their courses based on current conditions in the world, and the nations should have accurate knowledge of what is happening in the world," he said. "This kind of policy can allow a nation to use an opportunity to have a strong presence at international arena."
Further on, Zarif noted that Iran's policy would be based on the "win-win game", which would be beneficial to all.
He also spoke about the sanctions imposed on Iran. Zarif said the sanctions of UN National Security Council against Iran have no legal basis, adding that the U.S. sanctions on Iran are politically motivated.
"The U.S. pressured the international community so they would accept the policy of imposing sanctions on Iran," Zarif said.
"Iran has never intended to battle the world, and challenge other nations. Iran has never invaded any country during the past 250 years, and will continue this approach in the future," Zarif pointed out.
Iran's FM underscored that Western countries should recognize the fact that Iranian government couldn't ignore the people's rights.
"We should have a deep inside look at the U.S. socirty and find a positive aspect in american politics to use it in favor of our own interests," Zarif noted.
Iran's FM underscored that the policy of pressure along wit diplomatic negotiations is doomed to fail.
"We have not yet used all of our options in nuclear negotiations. We can negotiate better, without dealing our rights," he said.
The U.S. and its Western allies suspect Iran of developing a nuclear weapon - something that Iran denies. The Islamic Republic has on numerous occasions stated that it does not seek to develop nuclear weapons, using nuclear energy for medical researches instead.
