Iran eyes increasing export

TEHRAN, Iran, April 8. Iran is seeking to increase foreign trade by improving production, knowledge-based products, and increasing employment, said the member of the non-oil commission in Iran Chamber of Commerce Jamshid Nafar, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"Reaching $100 billion non-oil export is possible that would lead to prosperous production and employment," he said.

Iran's export was $48 billion in the last Iranian year (started March 21, 2021) which was more than the country's import.

According to the official, Iran can increase the export of oil products and gas condensate in addition to agriculture, handicrafts products, and services.
