Armavia national air carrier has pledged to pay off its debt to the sum of nearly 100 million drams to the Zvartnots aviation weather centre, Armenian Report said. However, the debt is still growing.
The agreement hasn't been implemented and they don't know how to solve the problem, acting director of the Zvartnots aviation weather centre, Paul Manoukian, told A1 +. Under the agreement, Armavia agreed to pay 33,000 drams for each flight.
The aviation weather centre has been operating at Zvartnots airport.
"We have a problem with the lease, the debt increases, but we can't cancel the flights," Paul Manoogian told A1 +.
