Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said about a "dramatic increase" in crime and corruption in Georgia.

He said about it at his estate in Kvareli, where he received mayor of Palermo Leoluka Orlando.

He highlighted the merits of the mayor in the anti-Mafia, noting that Orlando is an example of this relentless and hard struggle.

Along with this, Saakashvili said Georgia has recently been at the forefront of the struggle against corruption and crime, but the growth of these negative effects is obvious in recent weeks.

Saakashvili said that despite the recent arrests of his associates, no one can accuse them of corruption, since they are not criminals.

The President believes that justice will be done, as it is impossible to hide anything.
