Six Georgian soldiers were killed in a suicide-bomber attack on the base of the Georgian Defense Ministry in Afghanistan, head of the Joint Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces Irakli Dzneladze said on Thursday night at special briefing.

The suicide bomber managed to detonate a truck near the base of the Georgian military, Dzneladze said.
As result of blast corporals Ortovadze, Agamov, ordinary Gurgenashvili, Narimanishvili, Tsugoshvili, Sulkhanishvili were killed. Another military - Guchashvili seek among the ruins.
"Despite these losses and a very heavy blow to our army, our military is on high alert and ready to repulse the attackers," said Dzneladze, expressing deep condolences to the friends and relatives of the victims.
