It said Dhaka welcomed an "imminent resolution of the conflict" and supported a peaceful transition that reflected the aspirations of the Libyan people "who have been fighting for justice against an authoritarian regime."
The statement said: "Libya's future is for the Libyan people to decide and determine."
"Bangladesh stands ready to support the rebuilding and reconstruction of Libya in the interest of a brighter future for ... Libyan people, with whom the people of Bangladesh share excellent relations," it added.
