Number of registered Chinese companies up in Turkey

From January to August 2019, 70 companies with Chinese capital were registered in Turkey, which is 30 companies more compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).

The total capital of Chinese companies registered in Turkey in January-August 2019 amounted to 14.377 million Turkish liras, while in the same period of 2018, this figure amounted to 16.164 million Turkish liras.

Most of the Chinese companies were registered in Istanbul (58 companies) with a total capital of 11.076 million Turkish liras. During this period, four companies with Chinese capital were registered in Antalya province.

In January-August 2019, six mining, six industrial, 32 wholesale and retail, two logistics, four tourism companies and seven real estate companies with Chinese capital were registered in Turkey. The other 13 companies are involved in other sectors of the economy.

According to TOBB, the total capital of 32 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reported period amounted to 2.969 million liras.
