Turkey’s revenues from exporting cars to the US grew by 33.7 percent in January 2021 compared to the same month of 2020, having made up over $83.5 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend on Feb.24.
According to the ministry, Turkey exported cars worth over $2.2 million to global markets, which is 5 percent less than in January of the previous year.
Thus, Turkey’s car exports amounted to 16.8 percent of the country's total exports for the reporting month.
Over the past 12 months (from January 2020 through January 2021), Turkey exported cars in the amount of more than $25.4 billion.
