BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. Azerbaijan's GDP increased by 0.8 percent (110.2 billion manat or $64.8 billion) from January through November 2023 year-on-year, Trend reports.

The data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan shows that value added in the non-oil sector increased by 3.2 percent and in the oil and gas sector decreased by 1.6 percent in the reporting period of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022.

In the structure of GDP, the share of industry amounted to 41.2 percent in the specified period.

The State Statistics Committee noted that in the structure of GDP, trade and repair of vehicles amounted to 9.9 percent, transport and warehousing to 6.3 percent, construction to 5 percent, agriculture, forestry, and fish farming to 6.1 percent, the tourism sector to 2.4 percent, and information and communications to 1.7 percent. Other sectors of the economy amounted to 18 percent of GDP.

In addition, net income from the import tax in the specified period amounted to 9.4 percent of GDP.

GDP per capita in Azerbaijan amounted to 10,856 manat ($6,385.8) in the reporting period of 2023.

In general, Azerbaijan's GDP in 2022 increased by 4.6 percent, or 133.8 billion manat ($78.7 billion) compared to 2021.
