Georgia is not going to lift its own conditions on Russia's joining the WTO, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at a briefing in Tbilisi.

"Georgia does not seek to block Russia's joining the WTO," she said. "We have repeatedly stated that we are willing to contribute to the process. Therefore, we agreed to resume the negotiations, despite our political relations with Russia."

She said the conditions put forward by Georgia remain in force.

Kalandadze reiterated that Georgia is not subjected to any international pressure to open the way for Russia's joining the WTO.
