BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. 80 percent of Azerbaijani citizens are satisfied with the level of crime fighting in the country, says a social survey conducted by SWG, the Italian analytical agency, ahead of the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
"According to the survey data, 80 percent of respondents are satisfied with the level of crime fighting in Azerbaijan, with around 60 percent giving an extremely positive assessment," the report reads.
The SWG agency, founded in 1981 in Trieste, Italy, specializes in developing and publishing market reviews, public opinion, and institutional group surveys, as well as industry studies and monitoring centers that analyze trends and dynamics in markets, politics, and society.
On June 28, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order dissolving the sixth convocation of the Parliament and scheduling a snap election. The sixth convocation of the Parliament was dissolved, and an early election was set for September 1.
