BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 19. Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Masato Kanda discussed Kyrgyzstan's reform and investment priorities with the country's Finance Minister and ADB Governor Almaz Baketaev, Trend reports.
Kanda said in a post on X that Kyrgyzstan's fiscal surpluses, stronger revenues, and prudent borrowing had created space for continued reform and investment. He also praised the government’s leadership of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program this year.
The ADB will continue supporting the country’s financing needs and reform agenda, Kanda said, adding that the bank aims to help expand private-sector participation to bolster resilient and inclusive growth.
