Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 October/ Trend , corr E. Ismayilov/ A total of 70 passenger buses of Daewoo 211M brand will arrive in Baku next week, Deputy Transport Minister of Azerbaijan Musa Panahov said.
The Ministry of Transport will receive 200 buses of Korean Daewoo by the end of the year, Minister of Transport of Azerbaijan Ziya Mammadov said earlier.
The Ministry also received 60 new Man ( Germany) and Maz ( Belarus) passenger buses which has already been put into operation.
Two weeks ago Ministry of Transport imposed a ban on movement of small capacity buses in central streets of Baku. Small capacity buses are still used in suburbs and out of central streets of Baku. Small capacity buses are banned in the area of Elmlar Akademiyasi subway station, from Huseyn Javid avenue until Icheri Shahar subway, Afneft square and Neftchiler avenue. There is no ban on the use of medium and large capacity buses.
