Uzbekistan and Bahrain signed an agreement to encourage and protect investments and also a memorandum on economic and trade cooperation. The sides signed the documents during an Uzbek delegation's visit to Bahrain, a government source told Trend today.
Uzbekistan's Prime Minister and Foreign Economic Relations Minister Yeler Qaniyev and Bahrain's Finance Minister Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammad Al Halif undersigned the documents.
As part of the visit, the Uzbek delegation held talks with Bahrain's Economic Development Council Chairman Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Halif, Foreign Minister Sheikh Halid Bin Ahmad Al Halif and Central Bank President Rashid Mohammad Al Maraj.
