China decreases export of flat-rolled products of non-alloy steel to Georgia

From January through November 2019, China exported 38,350 tons of flat-rolled products of non-alloy steel of a width of more than 600 mm in a total amount of $28.1 million to Georgia, which is $5.2 million less compared the same period last year, Trend reports referring to Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).

In the reporting period, China exported 3,933 tons air conditioning machines worth $21.6 million to Georgia. China increased the export of air conditioning machines to Georgia. Over the same period last year, 2,945 tons of air conditioning machines totaling $17.3 million were exported from China to Georgia.

Meanwhile, 8,138 tons of new pneumatic rubber tyres worth $19.4 million were exported from China to Georgia. This is 1,629 tons less compared the same period last year.

During the reporting period, China exported 310,1 tons of automatic data processing machines and units in the amount of $19 million to Georgia. During 11 months of 2018, export of automatic data processing machines and units from China to Georgia amounted to 367,4 tons totaling $40.7 million.

China exported 828,9 tons of television receivers worth $17.5 million to Georgia.

China ranks third in Georgia’s commodity circulation.

From January through November 2019, the foreign trade turnover between Georgia and China amounted to more than $982.4 million, which is 8.5 percent of the total trade turnover of Georgia.

During the reporting period, Georgia exported products worth $197.1 million to the Chinese market, which is 5.8 percent of total exports from Georgia.

Meanwhile, China exported products worth $785.2 million to the Georgian market, which is 9.7 percent of total import to Georgia.
