Iran inaugurated 66 projects in various fields across the country that shall improve production and provide employment, Head of Agriculture Ministry's department in Fars Province Mehdi Ghasemi told Trend.
"The projects inaugurated in mid-June will create jobs for 226 people," Ghasemi said. "They will be implemented in the fields of food processing, water and other agricultural sectors and will help 2,145 families."
"More than $10 million of bank advances alongside $1 million of public credit have been assigned to these projects," he said. "These agriculture projects were inaugurated on June 16 across the country via video conference attended by the Agriculture Minister."
"Out of the 66 projects, 18 are related to plant production, 21 projects focus on livestock production development, five projects are to be commissioned in food processing industry, 21 are construction projects and one project is related to water and soil management," he added.
