Over 844 mln barrels of oil exported from İranian oil terminals

Last year 844,210,304 barrels of crude oil of different types were exported from Iran's oil terminals, Iranian news agency IRNA reported citing Muhammedrza Muwahhidi, CEO of the Iranian Oil Company for oil terminal management as saying.

According to Muwahhidi, in this period oil terminals of the company received 32,740,524 barrels of different types of oil in the Neka port (North Iran) under "swap" contracts and in exchange delivered oil in the Hark and Jask (South Iran) ports.

The company on oil terminals management is involved in export and import of crude oil from oil terminals Mahshehr, Hark, South Pars and Neka, Muwahhidi added.

Last year 258,649,473 barrels of light oil, 473,125,563 barrels of heavy oil, 112,435,268 barrels of oil extracted from oil soils were exported to Japan, China, South Africa, Brazil, Pakistan, India, the Netherlands, Sierra-Leon

Muwahhidi said the company had a potential to store and to export 8 million barrels of oil produced in the country.

Oil terminals belonging to the company can admit tanjers which are able to transport  up to 564,000 tons of oil.
