The registration of websites within Azerbaijan’s national domain “.az” has become free, a source in the Online company (domain’s registrar) has told Trend.
Upon registering a new domain, only annual maintenance payment of 20 manats is made. Previously, the cost of registration was also 20 manats.
In addition, the company reduced the cost of registering third-level domain from 10 to 7 manats, and invited the owners of websites registered in foreign domain zones (com, net, org, biz and others) free registration of analogous sites in the “.az” domain zone.
The offers are valid until December 30.
Azerbaijani national domain zone ".az" officially started to function on Aug. 25, 1993.
