TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 3. The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Georgia from January through June 2023 amounted to $71.68 million, Trend reports.
According to the data of the National Statistical Committee of Georgia, this is 10.4 percent more than in the first six months of last year ($64.93 million).
The Georgian statistics say that during the three months of this year, the highest level of trade turnover was recorded in April 2023, at $15.2 million.
During this period, Uzbek exports to Georgia amounted to $26.53 million, which is 25.8 percent more than in the same period in 2022 ($21.08 million).
Uzbekistan increased imports from Georgia by 2.9 percent from January through June this year compared to the same period last year ($43.85 million) to $45.15 million. The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Georgia reached $160.1 million last year, an increase of 39.6 percent compared to 2021 ($114.6 million).
