While news organisations in Turkey relay officials' complaints about how much Iran charges for its natural gas, Iran says its price is reasonable the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) reports.
Turkish officials have denied reports of their dissatisfaction in private meetings and said the rumours were being spread by opponents, an official at Iran's oil ministry said.
Iran says differences between the two countries are being worked on and should be resolved soon.
Iran will continue to be paid in cash for its exports and there's no truth to stories that it will trade its gas for Turkish goods. The price for the gas Iran supplies to Turkey is higher than other suppliers, but the long-term contract the two countries have signed serves Turkey's interests, says ISNA.
